Well that sucked…

I did not go to bingo for a long long while… So I did not update this page. But I’m back and I’m committed! I’m even going to Vegas for The $125,000 bingo this August. So excited. Airfare was stupid cheap, $74 dollars!! I mean, at that price it’s a crime not to go, and I promise, I’ll update you all on how much fun it was.

It’s in the link below if you’re interested. I do love Stations Casino Bingo. Palace Station is my favorite and the people there are totally awesome. Palace is not doing this one though, sigh…

UPDATE: So they cancelled the big bingo!! But hey is that going to stop me? Heck no. Just means I get to hang out at my favorite bingo place of all time, Palace Station! I love how Vegas does bingo, the payouts aren’t quite as big as they are locally, but they can be. Here in Denver, many places have the last game pay out $1,000 in Vegas it’s $250 unless, it is a special session and they pay based on the color of your card. It is totally confusing but if you win on a tan card and it is the special session you can get $1000. But the tan cards are more expensive.

The really cool thing about Vegas bingo is that you can plunk down $31 dollars for a machine and play for a whole hour and watch your Keno ticket at the same time. Most games pay $50, but again depending on the color of your card and what kind of games they are running it can be up to $200. No way you are sitting at a slot machine for $31 dollars and playing for a whole hour.

The other neat thing about Vegas bingo is they go super fast. So a two hour game in Denver only takes an hour in Vegas. And they bring you drinks, for free! In Denver you are competing against 50 or 100 people on a regular basis, not even talking about a must go. In Vegas there is usually 20-30? So your odds of winning are a lot better.

Cash balls are pretty cool too, they pick one of the bingo balls at the beginning of the session to be the cash ball and if you bingo on that number you win the jackpot amount. Currently Palace has pretty low cash balls around $500 – $600, but Green Valley Ranch has one for $5,000! It’s a bit of a commute from the strip, so I probably won’t visit them this time around. See the Cash Balls here I’ve only seen someone hit the cash ball a couple of times out of the maybe 50 times I’ve played. But it makes it more fun to watch out for.

They have some progressive games which I don’t even know how anyone wins them if you have to hit a blackout in 48 numbers, but you can win up to $27,000 at this time at Palace. I’ve seen one person bingo at 46 numbers at a must go bingo one time, and I was like dang, give us a chance will ya! But that’s about as low as I’ve ever seen it go. But it’s still fun to dream to think you might be the one to get that lucky card. Then I daydream about my new Tesla I’ll be putting a down payment on with my $27,000. And just like that they call number 49 and my Tesla vanishes and my 2000 Mazda reappears.
